Foster care is the temporary placement for children who have been removed from their parents' care.  These children have been sheltered for no fault of their own!

And these children need a caring home, while their parents address the issues causing their displacement.

There is currently an URGENT NEED for MORE FOSTER HOMES.

Could you open your heart, and your home, to help a child?

THE NEED

Yes, preventive measures and services are helping famlilies stay together!
Yes, children are being reunified with healed families.
Yes, services are being provided to help prepare youth for aging out!

"Then", you ask, "why is the need still so great?"

For the same reason you need to minister to people. We're all human, all able to make mistakes and sins of our own. The opoid and other drug use continues to escalate and Drug Abuse (Parent) is the primary reason children come into care, followed by Domestic Violence, and Physical Abuse. (You can view full statistics here)

Quite simply, the number of children entering "out-of-home care" each month necessitates the need for more foster parents.
