  FOSTER PALM BEACH
A Message From ChildNet:  Be a Foster Parent

Hundreds of children right here in Palm Beach Counties wish for a loving home foster home – a healing place of refuge. The need is real and right here in our own backyard. And so are the opportunities for loving foster parents to change lives for good.

Foster parents provide a nurturing, temporary home for children who have suffered abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Children enter foster care through no fault of their own, and stay until they are able to return their parents or transition to a permanent living arrangement such as adoption. Foster parents can make a difference for a lifetime in a relatively short amount of time by helping local children when they need it the most.

Our foster parents often say that they feel a deep sense of calling to care for children that outweighs the challenges of fostering. Ask yourself if you, too, feel called to open your heart and home as a foster parent to a child in our community.

ChildNet is the lead community based care agency in Palm Beach County. They can be reached at 561-352-2500.
